Cristiano Ronaldo has been amongst the goals in the UEFA Champions League since he returned to Manchester United for his second spell this summer. Real Madrid have an interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka who’s also a target for Premier League giants Manchester United. Madrid’s interest in Goretzka was confirmed by Spanish newspaper AS. It was disclosed that Real Madrid arethe latest club to show an interest in German national team player Goretzka. Real Madrid have joined Manchester United in the race to sign the former Schalke 04 player.

Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani is a big doubt for the Red Devils ahead of their league meeting with bottom club Sheffield United in the Premier League. Manchester United needed a point to qualify for the round of 16 ahead of the RB Leipzig game but failed to achieve their target as they were beaten 3-2 by the German Bundesliga club who moved to the next stage at the expense of Manchester United. RB Leipzig will now face Liverpool in the Champions League round of 16 after they qualified from Group H ahead of the Red Devils.
