Jose Mourinho is happy for Wenger despite losing to Arsenal

Published / by index

This debut season of Jose Mourinho as the head coach of Manchester United is certainly not going how the Portuguese manager wanted it to, as the Red Devils are not going to become the new champions of England and will not be securing the 2nd spot either as the table toppers Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are just too far ahead.

Manchester United was also knocked out of the FA Cup competition after losing against Chelsea in the quarter-finals as they faced off on March 13.

Even though Jose Mourinho has lifted the FA Community Shield and the EFL Cup in his 1st season in charge of Manchester United, this season is still widely considered to be an underwhelming one as the bigger competitions such as the Premier League and the FA Cup has been a completely different story.

Paul Pogba has been a huge disappointment as the French youngster has only scored 4 league goals in 29 Premier League appearances which is extremely unsatisfying for a player that cost Manchester United £89.3 million and ZlatanIbrahimovic picked up an injury that will be leaving him out of the pitch for 8 months. Bolton Wanderers are seeking a promotion to the English Championship this term and Newcastle United winger Sammy Ameobi joined on loan to help them achieve their aim.

The assistant manager of the Trotters, Steve Parkin has said that Ameobi can fulfill his talent at the club if he remains hardworking during trainings.

Ameobi has made 12 appearances in the League One this season. He has made seven starts, scoring two times. The 24-year old is in the final year of his deal with Newcastle United. He has been playing as a substitute for a long time. More than half of his 110 appearances have been as a substitute.

Parkin has said that the player, a younger brother of former Newcastle star Shola Ameobi, can prove himself at Lancashire as he desires consistency.

“The lad is a talent, there’s no doubt about that. He just needs a run in the team and to be given a chance. I think we’ve done that for him.

“We’ve reiterated to him in training how important it is to work on his fitness so he can play full games, or certainly 70 or 80 minutes. He’s worked really hard at that,” Parkin said. Continue reading

Parkinson looking to improve Bolton

Bolton Wanderers have made their best start to a season for more than 80 years by winning 4 games out of 4.

However, their coach Phil Parkinson believes that the team should keep working in order to improve. He said that as a coach you should always strive for perfection and find out how you can improve the team.

He is a big believer in hard work and said that the only way to improve the team is to keep working. He said that as a coach you cannot afford the luxury of thinking that you are a great team and that you should keep improving the team. He said that he still spend times on the pitch to train the players, and he keeps looking at the match videos to find out what they can improve in the team.

The players said that they are enjoying their game at the moment and that they are working hard in training for that. Wheater stated that the players are fully focused on the task and that they are following the instructions given by the manager.

Neil Lennon surprised about his exit from Bolton

Published / by index

Neil Lennon hadn’t thought his reign at Bolton would unfold like it unfolded.

The task Lennon was assigned first up was to ensure that the team does not suffer a drop and with that, he was promised that the funds would be supplied for the business in the summer.

Lennon, as he says, had no reason not to believe that because he had seen limitless money getting used for inessential resources at the club and he could never have thought that one event would suddenly cause a huge scarcity of cash.

But, it happened and it happened because of the illness of club president. That illness just changed the whole complexion of the club. Forget any new players, forget any more funds, the manager was given the message that the costs had to be cut down, the players had to be sold. All his steps should be aimed at reducing the expenditure. Continue reading

One day after Paddy Kenny left Bolton Wanderers, the experienced shot-stopper decided to join Ipswich Town on a short-term deal.
