It was off camera, no-one really saw what had happened until someone sent in a mobile phone recording of the incident to the football league show

Im a Cardiff City fan and this is just ridiculous. That is never a sending off or a ban. Its just the associations and media having their usual uppity love in like they did when they accused Kevin McNaughton of deliberately taking out Sian Massey. Nothing more than self loving vultures the lot of them.

It’s not the violence, it’s the abuse against authority that’s earned him the ban. If you deliberately tried to trip your boss up at work, do you think he’d take the same view?

ridiculous isn’t it. It can only be categorised as violent conduct – well how can a silly little trip like that be seen as violent?

If you didn’t see it I think this video was used on the bbc’s football league show last night. It’s on bbc iplayer if anyone’s interested. I tried to post a link but it wouldn’t let me. Skip to 23:00 for the video and what the pundits make of it.

At about 0:50 you can see barnes try to trip the ref and then get sent off for it! Brilliant!
